Deputy Registrar
Job description
The role and function of the Deputy Registrar is to:
- Assist the Registrar in overseeing the operations of the SIAC Secretariat
- Supervise the SIAC Secretariat in daily case administration work
- Participate in any review and drafting of arbitration Rules and Practice Notes under SIAC’s purview
- Participate in the review and implementation of internal processes and practices for the SIAC Secretariat
- Undertake such other work assigned by the Registrar from time to time
Prospective candidates intending to apply to the position of Deputy Registrar should have:
- Good law degree (LLB or equivalent)
- Relevant experience in international arbitration either with a law firm or an arbitral institution, or both
- 7-9 years’ PQE
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident and mature disposition
- Ability to work well in a team
